Be a Part of it--How you can Help!
Dear Friends and Family,
As some of you know, in August I will begin a new and exciting chapter of my life. I have been invited to volunteer for just over 2 years with the Farm of the Child in Trujillo, Honduras. The Farm of the Child (or the Finca...that's Spanish for Farm) is a family-style orphanage that provides a loving home, an education, healthcare, and so much more for dozens of orphaned children. I'm extremely excited to be a part of the mission of this wonderful organization, and I want you all to be a part of it too!
I know that I cannot do this without your support. Most of all I ask for your prayers--for the children, for my fellow volunteers, and for me. Be assured that I will be praying for you too. I know that Honduras is far away, but God will continue to be close to you and to me. Let YOU and I be a together with GOD in our prayers.
In order to support me and the work of the Farm, I am committed to raising $10,000. You don't have to tell me that that number seems daunting, but I trust that together we can achieve this goal. Any amount will help! If you feel that you are able to make (a tax-deductible!) donation, please visit http://www.farmofthechild.org/donate.php You can donate online with your credit card and you can even use your paypal account.
(For the online credit card/paypal option, once you submit your billing information, but before payment is confirmed, you will see "Donation Instructions." Please click "add" and simply fill in my full name [that's Kevin Kuehl...in case you've forgotten] to designate your donation towards my fundraising goal. The online option also allows you to make monthly donations in smaller increments throughout my time at the Farm). I encourage you to check out the Finca's website while you're at it and see the amazing things that are happening there.
Additionally, you could mail a check made out to the Farm of the Child. Be sure to budget an extra 44¢ for the stamp. Write my name on the memo line. You may send it to my home address or directly to the Farm at:
